Lumbar Body Care Co. — Wall mounted back massager

Release What
You Carry

The upper and mid back is where you store your stress — the long hours, the deadlines, the things you never quite put down. Lumbar is a wall-mounted massager that lets your own body weight work it loose, quietly, whenever you need it.

Launching in the UK. First run is limited — early list gets first access.

Lumbar wall-mounted back massager: matte charcoal rail with two rotating ball nodes

The problem

Sitting still is the hardest thing we ask our backs to do. Eight hours at a desk, another three on a screen, shoulders rolled forward the whole time. The thoracic spine and the muscle behind the shoulder blades absorb it, and by evening the tension has set. Relief usually means booking someone, or lying on the floor. Most nights, neither happens.

Foam rollers

Demand floor space you don't have, and a mobility routine on the ground every single time.

Handheld massagers

Can't reach the upper back without a second person or an uncomfortable contortion.

Single-point wall balls

One suction-cup contact point. No height adjustment, no full-back system, no heads.

The solution

LUMBAR

A permanent, height-adjustable, two-point system on your wall. Hands free, no power, no floor space — and it's already there when you stand up.

The mechanism

Engineered simply, so nothing gets between you and the pressure.

01 — Rail

Adjustable aluminium rail

Anodised, matte-charcoal rail with a 500mm travel range, so pressure lands exactly where the tension sits — shoulder blades to lower thoracic.

02 — Nodes

Two rotating ball nodes

A sliding carriage holds two 55mm polymer balls in deep sockets, each rotating a full 360° to follow every direction you move.

03 — Heads

Four click-lock heads

Standard knob, flat pad, trigger point and ridged roller. A quarter-turn swap tunes the pressure from broad relief to deep knot work.

04 — Power

Entirely mechanical

No batteries, no motor, no charging. Your body weight is the only power source, which is why it will still work in ten years.

One system. Multiple ways to feel better.

One ecosystem

Four heads in the box. Quarter-turn to change the feeling. Broad and forgiving on a tired day, narrow and precise on a stubborn knot. The same click-lock heads fit the companion handheld unit, so nothing is ever redundant.

Standard ball

All-round relief.

Flat pad

Broad pressure for larger areas.

Trigger point

Deep target release.

Ridge roller

Stimulating roll and grip.

Easy to swap. Twist to lock.

Designed for real life

A fixture, not a gadget in a cupboard.

Lumbar was drawn for studio flats and small rentals: a slim charcoal rail that reads as considered hardware, not equipment. It mounts flat against the wall between the desk and the door, and takes up exactly zero floor space.
